Diana Ross Surrender album

Surrender [ORIGINAL RECORDING REMASTERED]
One of my favorite albums by Diana Ross back in the early 70's is being remastered
and will be released Dec,2008

Surrender," the third solo album by Diana Ross, gets 'expanded' with nine bonus tracks!

Following the smash success of the solo hit "Ain't No Mountain High Enough," written and produced by Nick Ashford & Valerie Simpson, Motown President Berry Gordy Jr. requested another album from the team. The result was the critically-acclaimed "Surrender" containing the now-classic singles "Remember Me" and the title track.

"Surrender: Expanded Edition" contains the beautifully remastered original album and nine bonus tracks including "Baby I'll Come," the only unreleased song from the "Surrender" sessions plus incredible alternate mixes and versions. Closing out this special set is the original vocal demo by songwriter/producer Valerie Simpson who also sat for a brand new interview exclusively for the liner notes by Soul Music.com's David Nathan.

The CD booklet contains song-by-song commentary and trivia - and several stunning, rare and previously unpublished photographs from the Harry Langdon sessions for the original LP jacket.

the album surreneder came out in 1971
surrender the single charted on the billboard charts at#38
which i thought it should of been at least in the top 10
the album was one of my favorite albums and blessed they are
bring out as a remastered with bonus tracks .

The album surrender was her third album after solo album after leaving the most popular female group the Supremes.
Diana Ross was the lead singer of the supremes and she still
makes her music shine all around the world .

Being a christian Diana Ross music was very inspirational
to me and touches the heart of many fans around the world

Supreme lady Diana Ross (2007)

Review of supreme lady Diana Ross hot at the Maricopa City event ctr in phoenix Az
November 6,2007

MISS DIANA ROSS TOUR I LOVE YOU WAS A KNOCK OUT AT MARICOPA COUNTRY EVENT CENTER
IN PHOENIX AZ ,The lady came out with im coming out and her voice sounded like the sound when she recorded it.

here is a listing of some the songs she sang
1 im coming out
2 supremes medleys
my world is empty with out you
baby love
where did our love go
love child

3 the boss
4 its my house
5 love hangover
6 ease on down the road
7 do you know where your going to
8 why do fools fall in love
9 dont explain
10 lady sings the blues
11 touch me in the morning
12 upside down
14 i will survive
15 i love you

The show moved pretty good she had about 5 changes in clothes
as she finish im coming out she went right into the supremes medleys .
I thought she seem very happy and confident and her voice was very good .
Diana looks great for her age and still can move and dance well.
when she did (upside down) she had a guy come up and dance with her
and she look like she was having a good time with him.
the highlight of the show was when she did (dont explain) from lady sings the blues
she did it with emotion and her voice was very powerful and she got many claps on it
i personally did not like the way the stage was built because it was small and she didn't
come out to the audience.

The audience was pack but not a sold out show but most seats where filled
she had more of a older crowd at this concert and some younger ones but it
was nice to see people in there 60s and 70s dance to her music and stand up.

The show started around 730 pm and ended around 9 :20 pm so it was a full 2 hours show.

i could not take photos but many people did took some sorry to say mine didn't come out that well

here is a photo a guy given her flowers....im so mad this didn't come out
her last few songs was i will survive and i love you from her i love you cd
she even brought the guy up as she sang (ilove you) and said he was the one who
written the song..

i was personally was pleased to see her because the last time i saw her was the return to love tour
my dream is to see diana ,mary and cindy sing again all together and that will solve my puzzle
